The Reef Playacar Beach Resort & Spa Playa del Carmen

Loved our stay, had special 7 days overall. Booked a room in the air conditioning. Hotel's food was savoury and there is Les Crepes de Paris close by.

We only stayed here for 7 nights, as we didn't have time, even so everything was good. Superior double room was with an electronic key card, multi-channel TV and a radio.

It was definitely 4 stars for me: staff and location were perfect.

Hotel offered lots of meals for buffet breakfast.

Disappointing aspect was dirty bathroom.

The hotel was stunningly beautiful and clean, with courteous staff with a manager. The breakfast had lots of selection, the food was excellent.

The location was favourable, at a short distance from Parking.

Loved the place, had a fairly nice stay for 3 nights. The rooms were relaxing with 2 double beds.

We loved our 8 night stay. We booked superior family room with balcony and could use wake-up service, available in it.

Didn't like the staff, some of them were kind of rude.

We loved almost every detail of this hip new hotel, including location and rooms. The room was brand-new with 2 double beds. Fairly friendly staff were from these staff members. It was 15 minutes drive to the airport;)))

I have stayed here before now, it's still a small hotel. I liked the room, the bed was comfortable. The pool was lovely and I had bottled drinks in the pool bar.

The pool bar was amazing and the staff were competent. The property was brand-new and we had a really good stay.

Prime location and decent service. I loved my adequate room. Facilities were EXCEPTIONAL, especially the swimming pool.

kind staff and good value. the breakfast had lots of food, like eggs, yoghourt, hot waffles, pastries and muffins. the room was well-organised with an absolutely superb view of marina. the service was great in my opinion.

The hotel was relaxing and fairly clean with superfriendly staff with a manager. The a la carte restaurant for dinner and the lobby bar. A gym and aerobics classes were right on spot. We loved spending 3 nights here.

Good value compared to other properties, and spotless. The marvelous staff there were ready to help. The restaurant was small and its simple dishes are to die for. Indoor swimming pool was nice.

Overall a restful stay - good value, considering prices in other hotels. Staff and atmosphere of the hotel were superb. The views from my great bedroom were pleasant. The property was a nice base for enjoying a tourist area. I liked that the hotel was 10 minutes drive from the airport. Incredible swimming pool was available too.

Food was outstanding, staff was polite! There were eggs, yoghourt, hot waffles, pastries and muffins at breakfast. Lovely garden and very clean pool area.

Room was top-notch and top-notch with a luxury bathroom. Immaculately clean place, exceptionally welcoming staff. Good pastries, yogurt, hot waffles, scrambled eggs and sausages served at the restaurant.

It's a lovely relaxing hotel with beautiful gardens and new upgraded rooms.

We loved our fabulous stay here. Very convenient location with parking on-site. Everything was spotless during our stay though disappointing aspect was cold bathroom.

Good choice of restaurants to eat close by, like Barra Artesanal that was only 15 minutes' walk away. In love with reef playacar. Located in 20 minutes' drive to the airport.
